FAQ
Why should I be included in the Hometown Hospitality packet?
There are many ways to advertise but studies show that more people make purchases based on personal recommendations. Hometown Hospitality doesn’t just drop off coupons; we take the time to talk to people and introduce each business with personal experiences and anecdotes. You get the benefit of making the first impression on new residents, while we have their undivided attention during our 30 minute visit. Because you pay per visit and can choose the town(s) and home owners and/or renters, Hometown Hospitality makes your advertising dollars go a long way.
How is the material presented?
Each business or service is presented individually with your marketing materials. We take the time to explain exactly what your service is, your location, an explanation of your offer, what makes it special, why the homeowner should use you and any other pertinent information.
Why target newcomers?
- They have no existing buying loyalties and are receptive to new products and services.
- They make most of their household buying decisions within the first 90 days.
- They spend 60% more on household purchases in the first year than non-movers.
What areas do you service?
Hometown Hospitality visits new homeowners in Hopkinton and Southborough, Massachusetts. Most clients are part of packages in both towns, although you do have the option to choose one town or the other.
What do I need to provide?
You provide us with the promotional materials of your choosing. Colored cards, $ off coupons, a free gift, introductory offer etc. are best received. Remember, the better your offer, the more likely the new homeowner will check out your business and become a customer.
If you do not have the resources to produce marketing materials, Hometown Hospitality works with Liquid Graphics Design to create a unique card, designed especially with you and for your business.
How much does it cost? How do I know who you visited?
You pay per welcome that Hometown Hospitality makes. You will be billed monthly and with the bill, you will receive a list of homeowners visited, their names, address and any available contact information. You can use this information to follow up with the homeowner. You have the option to receive this information electronically or printed through mail.
